Who are we?
In 2002, Inter Access Belgium was set up as the Belgian branch of the Dutch firm. With 900 employees in the Netherlands and Belgium, Inter Access has the ideal size to set up large-scale complex projects and at the same be close to the customer. Customers include organizations in the manufacturing industry, commerce and the public sector.

Socially Sound Entrepreneurship
Since 2006, Inter Access has supported ICT projects in West Africa, in partnership with the International Institute for Communication and Development (IICD). IICD is a non-profit organization specializing in information and communication technology (ICT) as a tool for development. Senior consultants are given the opportunity to contribute to the further development of the country in that part of the world. Projects have already been completed in Burkina Faso, Mali, Tanzania, Ghana and Uganda.
Compared with European countries, the use of ICT and telecommunication is still in its infancy in most countries on the African continent, although there is plenty of interest in new information and communication technology. In several countries, the elaboration of a national ICT strategy is even one of the priorities to strengthen socioeconomic development and government. The activities of Inter Access and the IICD are directly in line with such a strategy.
In 2008, this earned Inter Access the Computable Award for the most socially sound ICT company.
Inter Access will continue to lend its support to the IICD in 2010.
