E-max Aluminium NV is a company that produces aluminum extrusion products, with HQ in Dilsen-Stokkem. The company has its own production unit as well as a department for the design of specific profiles. E-max is operational in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, with customers all over Europe.
E-max wants to bring more structure into the existing sales processes and approach, in order to have a better overview and follow-up of the process as a whole. A number of reports and overviews need to be created, as well as re-using data of the existing Navision implementation. The specific quote process needs to be implemented, including centralized storage of all related documents. Another requirement holds the improvement on registration and follow-up of customers’ questions. Besides the follow-up of their own customers, E-max wants to make a number of registrations with regards to competitors, and related customer data.
Microsoft CRM offers not only good standard functions for the improvement of the operations, but it also opens the way to a number of additional options and features. The Sales process can be optimized. Account managers have a better follow-up on their customers, but can also easily send out mailings to specific target audiences, request pipeline overviews, etc. Frequently asked questions can be registered in a knowledge base, thus not only creating a complete history of problems and solutions but making them accessible for all internal users of the system. The customizations are performed in such a way that proper handling of upgrades and patches are guaranteed.
Inter Access has demonstrated to have clearly understood the requirements of E-max and offered the right-size solution. This was however only the first achievement of Inter Access’ firm belief in ‘interaction’ with E-max as a customer. In the further course of the project Inter Access never stopped thinking and evolving with E-max. The only objective is a solution that finally best meets the expectations of E-max. The proposal made by Inter Access clearly described the proposed solution, respecting the specific E-max requirements, as well as the implementation process.
